About the Director
Phoebe Nir holds a BA from Brown University in Writing for Performance, and an MA in Drama Therapy from NYU. She was received at the White House by Barack Obama as a Presidential Scholar of the Arts in Writing, and was nominated for the prestigious Pushcart Prize for Literary Fiction. Her work in musical theatre has been showcased in New York City at Joe's Pub, Feinstein's 54 Below, LaMaMa Theater, and the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theater Workshop. Additionally she has two critically acclaimed EPs "Side Hustle" and "Red Tape Nation" with True Groove Records.
Phoebe is a proud member of the Shakespeare Oxford Fellowship, a hardcore Gilbert and Sullivan nerd, and a licensed creative arts therapist (LCAT).
